    Course Overview

In creating blends, it is important to know that the blend is just one aspect of the process. You need to know the person you are dealing with, whether it is yourself or someone else. The severity of the issue and how they deal with their issues is of utmost importance. You may decide to create a blend that touches on several issues, or you may decide to create a blend that has a finer focus. You can create a blend that has specific one-time usage, or you can create blends that are designed to be used more that once, or perhaps more than one person. When you are experienced in making the basic blends for flower essences, the next step can be focusing on specific disorders to assist a designated group of people, or an issue.

The power and focus of working with flower essences is to address the most overwhelming issues that are upsetting a person. This is self-limiting, as most people do have multiple issues and rarely focus on the more debilitating aspect of their life. In this class you will learn that it is your responsibility to assist others to get in touch with their issue, or issues by accessing these deeper issues for their blend.

    Course Overview

Dr. Bach divided the Flower Essences into seven categories. These categories represent fundamental life challenges that can prevent people from living up to their true potential. The first is Fear in its many forms. Second is Uncertainty, the doubt about one's decisions or inability to choose between two or more things. The third is Lack of Sufficient Interest in Present Circumstances, this can manifest as a refusal to be conscious, living in the past, or being resigned to life. Loneliness is the forth, an inability to enjoy one's own company and being impatient with others. Fifth is Oversensitivity, causing one to hide their feelings in order to avoid conflict, being over-anxious to serve others, or being too sensitive to changes in life. Despondency and Despair are associated with lack of faith in oneself and feelings of guilt. The last is Over-Care for the Welfare of Others; this translates to an inappropriate desire to be near loved ones, continual correction of perceived errors, even the need to convert others to one's own belief system.

After exploring these seven categories you will be presented with two flower essences from the English set, these exemplify the most common fears a person faces; fear of the known and unknown. We then expand outside the realm of Bach Flower Essences, into the FES North America set, the Alaskan Flower Essences and the Master Flower Essences. We will begin to understand how each company is different, along with the similar aspects within all the Flower Essences presented.
