Course Overview

Simple remedies for everyday health challenges are presented. However, knowing that White Willow Bark can assist pain does not mean that it is necessarily the best answer to the headache that you are experiencing. Stating that White Willow Bark assists pain is the allopathic (medical modality) means of dealing with the pain. This course assists in starting to the illness. By looking at some questions to ask the client; understanding how the actions and chemistry of the herbs relate to the holistic healing process, and looking at the system involved and its disease, this is the beginning of learning how to work with herbs.

Further explanation of identifying herbs through the shape of their leaves is explored. The herbs explored in this course are: Motherwort, Black Cohosh, Stevia, and Licorice. Research on dandelion is also a necessary part of this course.
