Course Overview

Referred to as 'the curse,' the Menstrual Cycle is labeled with other opinions and fears. Its purpose is vast, physical, and metaphysical. A holistic experience in which each vital component (Physical, Emotional, Mental and Spiritual) of the girl or woman plays a part in this ancient phenomenon. In this lecture, we will look at some historical facts and perceptions about the great Menstrual Cycle and the effect it has had on societies, leading up to present day, in which artificial methods exist to stop or pause the cycle. Seen as an inconvenience in many cultures, we will examine the effects these methods have on the body and society.

We will explore details of the cleansing process and how factors, such as, diet, stress, belief system and environment contribute to its effectiveness and health of a woman. Natural Therapy suggestions will be provided as wellness tools to assist the cleansing and homeostasis of the individual.
