Pregnancy and Morning Sickness Course
Education: 0.5 Continuing Education Units
Class Type: Holistic and Natural Health Student
A common occurrence among pregnant mothers, morning sickness is seen in the Allopathic world as having no original source; therefor, is improperly addressed. The course will begin to demystify this belief and give a tangible explanation as to why the body has given rise to morning sickness. As the mother and baby's safety is of the utmost importance, we will explore natural therapy options that can be easily incorporated into their daily lives. These options present to health-related risks, and are readily received by the body to promote wellness from the holistic model.
We will take a look at the current Allopathic "remedies" approved by the FDA, safe for use with morning sickness. We will discuss how these remedies transfer over to the health and safety of the baby. It becomes the responsibility of the mother/parents to know what is safe and what causes harm to their child. It is important to educate yourself. From the holistic model we will explore approaches such as diet, exercise, the Enzyme Therapy modality and the parent's emotional/mental approach to life; each modality will give insight into manifestation and appropriate addressing of morning sickness. This is a wonderful opportunity for the mother and all involved to approach the pregnancy journey from an empowered and proactive place.
